About the Club

This Club was formed in 1978 to serve residents of Petawawa and area who are 50 years of age and older. Membership is now over 400 active members who participate in a variety of programs and activities.

The mandate of the Club is to provide a venue for seniors  to come together in friendly competition, to cater to the interests of the members and to afford an opportunity for members to interact with each other.


Membership
The membership year is from April 1 to March 31st. The cost is $25. Members may join at any time during the year and a reduced membership of $15.00 is available for those who join after November 1st. 

If you are 90 years of age or older, membership is complimentary.
Interested persons may attend 3 regular activities before membership is mandatory. Membership registration is available in the office.


Office Hours
The Office is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9am - 1 pm and Wednesday from 9am - 2pm. during the winter.

Summer hours - June, July, August:
Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm.
 


Communication
The Club always endeavors to keep its members informed of its weekly activities and special events through weekly newspaper columns, frequent emails to members, a current bulletin board at the Club, newsletters sent out to all members four times a year, and this website.



 


 
The Silver Threads Seniors Club of Petawawa is located at 1163 Victoria Street, Petawawa


An access lift is available
for those with special needs.


We do hall rentals.
